About RKUltra

The RKUltra platform is an online magazine for commentary, analysis and investigative journalism, seeking to connect evidence-based public discourse with research, knowledge and contemporary social and political realities.

The platform is being developed in connection with the activities and content of the Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Black Sea and Mediterranean Studies (ILABSEM), while retaining its own distinct editorial identity.

The content is organised around three main strands:

  • Articles & Analysis — opinion pieces, evidence-based analysis and contributions to public debate.
  • Investigations — in-depth journalism and research supported by detailed evidence.
  • Dossiers — thematic collections developed over time, bringing together articles, analysis, investigations and related material on a particular issue.

RKUltra is designed as an open, collaborative publishing platform. Registered authors will be able to submit their work easily, with texts undergoing a basic review and editing process before publication.

The aim is for the platform to develop gradually into a space for meaningful discussion and consultation on the issues it covers.
